Mary Neva Adams Hardy

ABBEVILLE - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Catholic Church honoring the life of Mary Neva Adams Hardy, 85, who passed away on April 23, 2025 at Abbeville General Hospital. Reverend François Sainte-Marie will officiate at the funeral mass. Burial will follow at St. Paul Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jacob Benoit, Beau Benoit, Drake Mayers, Colby J. Mayers, Scott Weaver and Colby Mayers. Honorary Pallbearers will be Cain Mayers and Cole Mayers.

A visitation will take place at St. Theresa of the Child Catholic Church on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 from 9:00 AM until time of the Mass. A rosary will be prayed at 10:00 AM.

She is survived by her niece, Malinda Weaver; former daughter in-law Marilyn Stelly; former grandaughter in-law Nikki Touchet; step children Chris Hardy (Kim), Tony Hardy (Michelle), Pat Hardy (Liz), and Mike Hardy (Janise); grandchildren, Colbi Mayers, Chad Mayers, Kim Mayers; Trisha Johnnie and Cole Mayers; great grandchildren, Jenna Mayers, Drake Mayers (Heather), Colbi J. Mayers, Cain Mayers, Lakaysha Mouton, Jentz Mouton, and Jayden Johnnie; great-great grandchildren, Rosalie Mayers, Damon Mayers, Kaleya Leger; and siblings, Eve Adams Baudoin, Jimmy Davidson (Jackie), and Terry Davidson (Marilyn); step brothers, Milton Adams, Jr. (Gale); and half brother, Steven Ray Adams.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Milton Joseph Adams, Sr. and the former Bernice Duhon Davidson; husband, Minos J. Hardy; son, Eddie Mayers; step sons, John Hardy, David Hardy, and Tim Hardy; and brother-in-law, Norris Baudoin; sisters, Patsy Davidson and Beverly Adams Fabre; nephews, Christopher Baudoin; Ryan Davidson and Ronald Benoit.
