Patrick Lloyd Hartwell

A memorial service officiated by Reverend Chyrelena Peyton will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Gueydan Methodist Church honoring the life of Patrick Lloyd Hartwell, 65, who passed away on February 5, 2026, at his residence. 

A visitation will take place at Gueydan Methodist Church on Saturday, February 14, 2026, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. 

Pat dedicated many years of service at Farmers Rice Milling Co. before retiring this past year. His commitment to the rice industry and the farmers of the region was evident in all that he did. He was a proud member of USA Rice and took great pride in his work.

Pat found joy in spending time outdoors, whether it was crawfishing, playing golf, or simply enjoying the beauty of nature. He cherished the moments spent with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Pam Hartwell of Gueydan; two daughters, Kandace Hartwell Hargrave and her husband, Bryant of Spurger, TX and Kelsey Hartwell Rogers and her husband Joel of Gueydan; five grandchildren, Brylee Hargrave, Porter Rogers, Dallas Rogers, Gunnar Hargrave and Knox Rogers; and a nephew, Colton Hartwell.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd Gordon Hartwell and the former Marjorie Vincent and two brothers, Michael Gordon and Stephen Hartwell.
