Paul Melvin Faulk Sr.

A Mass of Christian Burial officiated by Reverend Stephen S. Irudayasamy will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, June 18, 2026, at St. Francis Xavier Cabrini Catholic Church honoring the life of Paul Melvin Faulk, 88, who passed away on June 15, 2026, at his country home in Kaplan. He will be laid to rest at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Paul Melvin Faulk Jr., Daniel Faulk, Landon Faulk, Kayden Marceaux, Ashton Faulk, and Baylor Meaux. Honorary pallbearers will be Harold Marceaux, Landon Meaux, and Fletcher Meaux. 

A visitation will take place at Vincent Funeral Home of Kaplan on Thursday, June 18, 2026, from 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 11:00 AM. 

He is survived by his son, Paul Melvin Faulk Jr. (Darlene) of Kaplan; his daughters, Suzonne Renee Faulk McGregor of Abbeville, Donna Faulk of Kaplan, and Vicki Faulk of Kaplan; his brother, Royce Faulk of Carencro; his five grandchildren, Daniel Jude Faulk, Lindsey Rene Meaux, Landon Paul Faulk, Kayden Hanks Marceaux, and Lainie Angelle Marceaux; his six great-grandchildren, Baylor Meaux, Ember Meaux, Stella Meaux, Fletcher Meaux, Ashton Faulk, and Brynn Faulk.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria B. Faulk; his son, Dr. Randall Faulk; his daughters, Mary Faulk and Stephanie Faulk; his son-in-law, Scott D. McGregor; his parents, Rene and Clora Faulk; and his sisters, Annie Lou Brown, Rose Simmons, and Helen Pittman.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Scott Bergeaux and his staff, Heart of Hospice, and the sitters and caregivers who provided love and care during Mr. Melvin's later years, including Cynthia Mire, Jennifer Hebert, Rose LeBlanc, Priscilla LeBouef, Alexey Hebert, Becky Duhon, Shelly LeBlanc, Amanda Parker, and Bonnie Hollier.
