Paul James Landry, 75, of Abbeville, LA, passed away suddenly and went to be with the Lord on May 28, 2026. Funeral services officiated by Deacon Bryan Istre will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at Vincent Funeral Home of Kaplan. He will be laid to rest at Mire Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Landon Falgout, Deke Hulin, Jacob Williams, Brent Suire TBlu Landry, and Evan Bonin. Honorary pallbearers will be Lucas Buford and Sawyer Broussard. 

A visitation will take place at Vincent Funeral Home of Kaplan on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, from 3:00 PM until 10:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM. The visitation will continue Wednesday, June 24, 2026, from 8:00 AM until the services at 1:00 PM. 

Born in Kaplan, Paul was a man who loved hunting, fishing, playing pool, working on his vehicles, and spending time with the family and friends who brought joy to his life. 

He is survived by his children; Nicole Landry Newman (Jacob; her daughters Mikayla and Brandy), Serena Landry (Corey), Rose Landry Buford (Lucas; her daughters Jeighla Falgout, Linda Falgout, Brianna Buford; her son Landon Falgout), Pauline Hulin (her sons Deke Michael and Logan James), Haylie Thibodeaux (her son Kaylus), Miley Sue Bonin, and Paul James Landry, Jr. He is also survived by his siblings and their families; Steven "Blu" Landry (Penny), (his son Steven "T Blu" Jr. [Ashley] his daughter Aubree, his son Cullen Landry); his daughter Trastina Demarcy ([Randy] her sons Parker and Gage Demarcy), Timmy Landry (his six children), and Rogers Landry. Paul is further survived by his grandsons, Evan and Ty Bonin; and his great‑grandchildren Sabrielle Paige Phillips, Sawyer Paul Broussard, Zayne Alexander, and Mattie Pauline Newman. 

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Pauline; his second wife, Rejonna Sue; his children, Jamie Paul and Tia Dawn; his brother, Patrick Daniel; his parents, Paul Daniel and Mae Rose Landry; and his grandmother, Lelia Meaux Leger. 

Paul's legacy lives on in the hearts of those who loved him, and his memory will be carried forward with love, gratitude, and affection.
