Paul Ravis Richard

A Funeral Service officiated by Deacon William Vincent will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, May 07, 2025, at Vincent Funeral Home of Gueydan honoring the life of Paul Ravis Richard, 86, who passed away on May 5, 2025, at Gueydan Memorial Guest Home.

A visitation will take place at Vincent Funeral Home of Gueydan on Wednesday from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 11:30 AM. Burial will follow at Gueydan Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Loretta Theriot Richard of Gueydan; two sons, Kyle Richard of Lake Charles and Byron Richard of Gueydan; two daughters, Felicity Richard of Egan and Leslie Pharris of Gueydan; one sister, Norma Cates of Lyons Point; two brothers, Oran Richard of Jennings and Kermit Richard of Morse; eighteen grandchildren; and twenty-three great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Telesmar Richard and the former Virgie Hargrave; one son, Darren Troy Richard; two brothers, Elbe and Larry Richard; four sisters, Hilda Duhon, Virginia Cormier, Margaret Broussard, and Myrna Kibodeaux.
