Paul Donald Trahan

Abbeville-Funeral services officiated by Deacon Keith Duhon will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, honoring the life of Paul Donald Trahan, 84, who passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2026 at his residence. He will be laid to rest at St. Alphonsus Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Jarrod Broussard, Kade Istre, Damon J. Trahan, Lani Joseph, Kristy Trahan, Paige Trahan, and Felix Joseph.

A visitation will take place at Vincent Funeral Home of Abbeville, 209 S. Saint Charles St., Abbeville on Tuesday, January 27, 2026 from 9:00 AM until time of services.

He is survived by his son, Damon Trahan and his wife, Katharina of Maurice; four grandchildren, Kristy Trahan (Kade Istre), Lani Joseph (Felix), Kayla Trahan, and Paige Trahan; step-grandson, Jarrod Broussard (Jamie); four great-grandchildren, Greyson Jordan, Alijah Mannino, Rylee Fontenot, and Stetson Joseph; step-great-grandson, Remme Broussard; and sister, Leanna Landry.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thear Joseph Trahan and the former Agnes Abshire; son, Rendell Trahan; and brother, John Leeward Trahan.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Hospice of Acadiana nurse Natalie and Kade Istre for their compassionate care during this time.
