She had worked at Louisiana Cajun Mansion Bed and Breakfast and was currently working for RiverFront Seafood Restaurant. While she excelled in the classroom and participated in many school events, Ramsie will be remembered more for her joie de vivre- a beautiful soul and full-of-life ball of fire with a heart of gold, an infectious laugh, a bubbly personality, and a beautiful smile.
Ramsie is survived by her father, Brian Baumgardner and second mom, Kristi; mother and second dad, Ali and Clay Vincent; loving siblings, Riley Baumgardner, Eleanor Vincent, Kayli Navarre (Robert), Madison Abshire (Tre), and Landon Babineaux; grandparents, Iris and Jackie Baumgardner, Bernard and Molly Wiltz, Jackie Vincent, Eric and Karen Mouton, and James LeBlanc; Old Nanny, Sydney Mire; nephew, Anderson Abshire; numerous cousins, aunts and uncles; a community of friends; and her devoted cat, Bree.
Ramsie, was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother Evelyn Leblanc.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles St., on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 6:30 PM; Wednesday, January 26, 2022 from 8:00 AM until 12:30 PM.
Ramsie’s final act of kindness was fulfilled with her wish to be a LOPA donor. Her family would like to thank all emergency first responders at the scene, the ER and the ICU staffs at Ochsner Lafayette General Medical Center, LOPA, the community of Vermilion Parish, and all who have reached out with prayers and support.
