Randall "Randy" Broussard

Funeral services officiated by Roland Roux will be held at 1:00 PM, Sunday, June 14, 2026 at Vincent Funeral Home of Kaplan honoring the life of Randall "Randy" Broussard, 64, who passed away on Friday, June 12, 2026 at his residence. He will be laid to rest at Pecan Island Community Cemetery. 

Serving as pallbearers will be Grant and Nathaniel Gautreau, Blaine, Tyler and Jake Lege, and Barry White. Honorary pallbearers will be Thaddeus and Benjamin Gautreau, Neil Heath, Kevin McCord, Keith Broussard, Sam Hoffpauir, Mike Breaux, Keith Breaux, Perry Albert, Robert Menard, and all of the members at Tropical Garden Hunting Camp. 

A visitation will take place at Vincent Funeral Home of Kaplan on Saturday, June 13, 2026, from 1:00 PM until 9:00 PM. The visitation will continue Sunday, June 14, 2026, from 9:00 AM until the services at 1:00 PM. 

Randall spent his life surrounded by friends, family, and the great outdoors he loved so much. When he graduated high school on Wednesday, he moved to Pecan Island the same weekend and never looked back. He then dedicated 40 years of his life to the Wildlife and Fisheries where he began as a welder and retired as a Facility Maintenance Manager. In his spare time, he could often be found relaxing under his patio, unless the mosquitoes were too bad! Fishing was his passion; whether he was out on the water or spending time with friends on their boats, Randall cherished those moments. He was an avid hunter in his younger years. 

He is survived by his daughter, Alicia Gautreau and husband Jim; grandchildren, Grant, Cecilia, Nathaniel, Annalise, Lydia, Kathryn, Evangeline, Thaddeus, Benjamin; sisters, Cathy Frioux and Tracy and her husband, Blaine Lege; his beloved companion, Donna Richard; numerous nieces and nephews; and an abundance of close friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harris Broussard and the former Rita Vincent; his son, Matthew Broussard; one sister Myrna Heath; and one brother-in-law, Ron Frioux.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the entire with Southern Grace Hospice for their excellent care and compassion.
