Ruby C. Hebert

Graveside services officiated by Pastor Troy Duhon were held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, June 25, 2026 at the Gueydan Cemetery honoring the life of Ruby C. Hebert, 97, who passed away on June 24, 2026 at Gueydan Memorial Guest Home. 

Serving as pallbearers were Bruce Hebert, Brock Campbell, Brad Guidry, Holden Guidry, Cohen Guidry, and Craig LeBlanc. Gilbert Hebert served as an honorary pallbearer.

She is survived by her son, Gilbert Lee Hebert (Kathy) of Gueydan; three granchildren, Adonia H. Guidry (Brad) of Gueydan, Bruce Hebert (Ashley) of Gueydan, and Brock Campbell of Gueydan; seven great grandchildren, Sheridan Mayer (Jon) of Gueydan, Holden Guidry (Alisabeth) of Gueydan, Griffen Guidry (Cheyenne) of Gueydan, Cohen Guidry of Gueydan, Gwen Hebert (Slade) of Kaplan, Waylon Hebert (Morgan) of Hawaii, and Jillian Hebert of Gueydan; and 10 great great grandchildren, Brady, Foster, Elliot, and JP Mayer, Dustin, Andy, Roman, and Emryn Guidry, Ina, Whitlee, and Baby Oakley Hebert on the way; and numerous nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, Ludgier Chatagnier and the former Etile Istre; one daughter, Lisa Campbell and her husband, Claude Campbell, three brothers, Roy, Harlan, and Floyd "TuTu" Chatagnier; and six sisters, Domatile, Dora, Theoza, Gladys, Mable, and Jean.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the entire staff of Lamm Hospice for their compassionate care and support. They also wish to thank everyone at Gueydan Memorial Guest Home for the kindness, comfort, and excellent care provided during her short stay.
