Shirley Abshire

Kaplan—Graveside services were held at Kaplan Cemetery honoring the life of Shirley Abshire, 83, who died Sunday, May 10, 2020 at The Carpenter House of St. Joseph Hospice.

She is survived by her son, Carson Abshire and his wife, Verlene of Kaplan; her two daughters, Rhonda A. Davis and her husband, Robbie of Fairhope, AL and Krisen Abshire of Kaplan; her eight grandchildren; and 21 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jean Ovelton Abshire; her four sons, Joseph, Tim, Ted, and Cary "Garre" Abshire; her two grandchildren, Brandon Abshire and Aleah Abshire; and her parents, Joseph Campbell and the former Edmay LaPoint.
