Venora Rung Breaux

A Mass of Christian Burial officiated by Reverend Mikel Polson will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, September 17, 2026, at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Venora Rung Breaux, 80, who passed away on September 12, 2026, at Kaplan Healthcare Center. She will be laid to rest at LeMaire Cemetery.

A visitation will take place at Vincent Funeral Home of Kaplan on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM. The visitation will continue Thursday, September 17, 2026, from 9:00 AM until the procession departs for the church at 10:40 AM.

She is survived by her daughter, Angie Breaux (Kenny) of Kaplan; two grandchildren, Tya Soileau (Shane), and Tyler Breaux; daughter of heart, Mona King (Bubba) of Gray, LA; three grandchildren of heart, Kris Benham (Derrick), Brenna King and Tayler Hackman (Bryce); three great grandchildren; three sisters, Louella LeMaire (Bradley) of Geismar, LA, Lomire Hebert (Rodolph) of Kaplan and Brenda Faulk (Dale) of Kaplan; two brothers, Dean Rung (Arlene) of Kaplan and Jimmy Rung (Rexine) of Kaplan; and her lifetime best friend, Janette Hargrave.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Annette LeMaire Rung; father, Leonce "Tib" Rung and a loving sister, Dolores LeMaire.
