Verna H. Broussard

A Mass of Christian Burial officiated by Reverend Stephen S. Irudayasmy will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church honoring the life of Verna H. Broussard, 90, who passed away on August 15, 2025 at Vermilion Health Care Center. She will be laid to rest at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery.

A visitation will take place at Vincent Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 from 9:00 AM until 1:40 PM when the procession departs for the church. A rosary will be prayed at 11:00 AM.

She is survived by one son, Barton Broussard and his wife, Kelly of Meaux; one daughter, Selene B. Landry and her husband, Danny of Ragley; seven grandchildren, Darlene Watson (Christopher) , Dane Landry, David Landry (Catherine), Dayton Landry (Katie), Donovan Landry (Laura), Hayley Reese and Mark Reese (Brooke); and 16 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Pervis Broussard; her parents, Deussard Harrington and the former Agnes Hargrave; and three brothers, Otis, Sandres and Farrell Harrington.
