Virgie C. LeMaire

A Mass of Christian Burial officiated by Reverend Mikel Polson will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Virgie C LeMaire, 78, who passed away on February 28, 2026, at her residence. She will be laid to rest at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery. 

A visitation will take place at Vincent Funeral Home of Kaplan on Tuesday, March 03, 2026, from 12:00 PM until Wednesday, March 04, 2026, when the procession departs for the church at 12:45 PM. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, March 03, 2026.

She is survived by her three sons, Larry LeMaire (Terrie), Scott LeMaire (Anitra), and Josh LeMaire (Tania); her daughter, Frannie LeMaire (Jim); eight grandchildren, Blaine, Aaron, Stephanie, Chelsey, Pipper, Layne, Judd, and Daniel; eight great grandchildren, Jaylynn, Matthew, Abbygail, Annabelle, Caroline, Peyton, Toby, and Maverick; her brother, John Corner (Yvonne); two sisters, Ora Teague (Jack) and Ruby Gaspard (Donald); her loving dog, Cotton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Xavier Corner and the former Alice Marceaux; her nephew, Little James; and eleven brothers and sisters.
