Waldon James Duhon

Erath-Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, February 28, 2025 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Erath honoring the life of Waldon James Duhon, 72, who passed away on February 23, 2025 at his residence. Deacon Glynn Stutes will officiate at the funeral services. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Mausoleum. Readers will be Clare Duhon and Leah Weimer. Waldon, a resident of Erath, Louisiana, was born on December 1, 1952. He was a talented welder whose craftsmanship and dedication to his trade left a lasting impact on the many lives he touched throughout his career. A visitation will take place at Vincent Funeral Home – Abbeville, 209 S. Saint Charles St., Abbeville on Thursday, February 27, 2025 from 3:30 PM until 8:00 PM. A rosary will be prayed at 6:30 PM Thursday. Visitation will continue Friday, February 28, 2025 from 9:00 AM until 12:30 PM when the procession will depart for the church. He is survived by his sister, Loretta D. Dooley; brother, Joey P. Duhon; daughter, Brittni Duhon; brother-in-law, Vernon A. Dooley; and Godchild, Leah Weimer. He is preceded in death by his mother, Velma Hebert Duhon; and father, Dudley J. Duhon.
