Weston Louis Hebert February 4, 1945 - June 2, 2025 Shirley Jean Hebert December 13, 1946 - June 2, 2025
A visitation will be held Saturday, June 7, to honor the lives of Weston (80) and Shirley (78) Hebert from 8:00am to 11:00am at Vincent’s Funeral Home in Kaplan, Louisiana, followed by the saying of a rosary at 11:00am. Funeral Service officiated by Reverend Paul Bienvenu will be held at approximately 12:30pm, same day, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Leroy, Louisiana, followed by burial services at the Leroy Cemetery.
Weston was a veteran who proudly served our country as a Sergeant in the United States Air Force. Shirley was a much beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. Both were religiously devout members of the Catholic Church. Weston’s hobbies included playing Spider Solitaire, participating in HAM Radio operations as call number KB5WI, and being remembered by his CB Radio Handle, “Brokenwing”. Shirley’s hobbies included painting, cooking, collecting family photos, and ceramic crafts. Both were beloved members of the Indian Bayou/Leroy/Kaplan communities.
Weston and Shirley are survived by their children, David Hebert and his wife Elizabeth, Linda Carter, Glen Hebert, and Karen Barbato and her wife Nadia. Shirley is survived by her sister Melba LeBlanc and her husband Herbert. Weston is survived by his sister Earlene Royer. They are also survived by their grandchildren Alicia LaSalle, Forrest Carter, Gunner Carter, Heather LeJeune and her husband Joseph, Hanna Hebert, Joshua Hebert, Isaiah Hebert, and Chevelle Hebert. Their surviving great-grandchildren are Corbin LaSalle, Ari LaSalle, Shawn Hebert, Ella Lambert, Lillianna Hebert, Leuna LeJeune, Declan Hebert, Jax Hebert, and Asher Hebert.
Weston is preceded in death by his mother, Edia Boudreaux Hebert, his father, Sydney Hebert, his sister Delta Hebert, his brothers J. Roland Hebert, James R. Hebert, Shelton Hebert and Dorris “Doc” Hebert.
Shirley is preceded in death by her mother, Agnes Mathiew Hebert, her father, George Hebert, and her brother Nolan Hebert.
Pallbearers will be Forrest Carter, Gunner Carter, Joshua Hebert, Joseph LeJeune, Isaiah Hebert, and Joshua Brown.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to all those who have prayed for them during this time, as well as those who contributed photographs for the slideshow, those who purchased flowers and food for the services, and those who made monetary donations in lieu of flowers.
